Parents/Guardians:

It is with a heavy heart that I write this letter. An official announcement was made that I have been transferred from Parkway Public School to Silverheights Public School. My last day at Parkway is January 31st 2020.  We will work hard for a smooth transition and I will introduce our new principal once he/she has been carefully selected.

Over the years I have been blessed in different ways by our scholars. Those that have struggled have shown me perseverance, the leaders have taught me humility, and the students who have physical and learning challenges have reminded me to never put limits on what children can accomplish when given enough time and support.

The Parkway staff have been, and continue to be, a blessing to the scholars they teach. The children who are learning, the children who are mastering mathematical concepts, the child who is helped to emerge from his/her shell, the refuge provided for scholars in need, and the community of learners created and nurtured are due to the care, devotion, and dedication of our teachers, ECEs and support staff. I am proud of their accomplishments which have made a huge and memorable difference in the lives of the children they teach.

Our school is also blessed with supportive volunteers and parents. This support is invaluable to our scholars. It makes our school community stronger and I am so appreciative of their efforts.

As I look back on my time here, I am so grateful for our staff and our scholars. They have made it a pleasure to come to work every day. I will always remember my time at Parkway with fondness, and leave wishing our students a bright and successful future.

Sincerely,

Jason Stere
